PSA Value Grading Is Back: Submissions Open October 29th

Good news for collectors with cards to grade: PSA is reopening its Value service tier. Submissions open Thursday, October 29th at 11 AM ET.

The Details

  • Cost: $39.99 per card, according to PSA
  • Card value: for cards worth up to $500
  • Estimated turnaround: 90 to 100 business days
  • Place in line: new Value orders are graded after the submissions already at PSA

Faster Standard and Priority

PSA also cut estimated turnaround times by about 20 business days for new orders. Standard is now 70 to 80 business days, and Priority is 50 to 60.

What About Value Bulk?

The Value Bulk tier isn't back yet. PSA says it will return once its grading backlog comes down.

Which Cards Are Worth Grading?

Grading costs money and takes months, so it makes the most sense for cards in great condition that would be worth more in a slab. Before you submit:

  • Check centering, corners, edges and surface under good light
  • Sleeve and toploader your best cards as soon as you pull them
  • Compare recent sales of raw and graded copies to see if grading is worth it

Ask Card Pop
